"shake-n-bake" is basically seasoned bread crumbs and flour. i would use a 3-1 ratio and add a little thyme, onion and garlic powder and shake away!

Italian bread crumbs or lightly coat it with flour and through in some of your favorite seasonings to coat it also. Shake and bake is similar to those, but is just pre-made with seasoning.

Use flavored bread crumbs or bread crumbs with your own seasoning (like garlic salt, salt, pepper, cayenne, etc) and coat with that instead

you could take some bread crumbs and use them instead, if you don't have any take some bread and leave it out and make some. another idea is use toastitos and crumble them up real fine.

It's been years since I've had Shake-n- Bake, but it's basically seasoned fine bread crumbs. With the BBQ sauce and the Italian dressing and cheese, I don't think you'll need any extra salt or seasoning...so regular bread crumbs should do it.
